Pick a hero
Every Azeroth Survivors run starts at the hero picker. Each hero plays a little differently, so your first choice shapes which attacks you start with and how you will want to move around the arena.

Azeroth Survivors is a free survivor roguelike with a World of Warcraft theme. Like other survivor games, Azeroth Survivors drops you into an arena where enemies keep coming and your attacks fire by themselves. Your job is to stay alive for as long as possible while the waves grow. Here is the loop in three steps; the fullAzeroth Survivors how to play guide goes deeper.
Every Azeroth Survivors run starts at the hero picker. Each hero plays a little differently, so your first choice shapes which attacks you start with and how you will want to move around the arena.
In Azeroth Survivors you only move. Your attacks fire on their own, which means positioning, kiting and dodging the incoming waves is the whole game. There is nothing to aim and no button to mash.
Enemies drop experience. Collect it, level up, and pick one upgrade from the cards the game offers. Each Azeroth Survivors run is a build you assemble on the fly while the waves keep growing.
Prefer not to use a browser? The developers also share a Windows build, linked on ourAzeroth Survivors download page.
A run of Azeroth Survivors is short, repeatable and built around one question: how long can your build outlast the waves? Each run follows the same loop, and every decision you make fits into one of these steps.
Nothing in Azeroth Survivors asks for fast reflexes with a mouse. The skill is reading the screen, leaving a path open before the crowd closes in and deciding which upgrade is worth more right now than later. That is also why a run can end in a minute for a new player and last far longer once you know how the waves behave. For key tips, seehow to play Azeroth Survivors.
Azeroth Survivors needs a desktop or laptop browser with WebGPU, a modern graphics API that lets the page draw the whole 3D world itself. The game also works best with a keyboard, so a computer is a better fit than a phone. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
| Browser | What to know for Azeroth Survivors |
|---|---|
| Google Chrome | Current desktop versions have WebGPU on by default. On Linux you may need chrome://flags/#enable-unsafe-webgpu. |
| Microsoft Edge | Built on Chromium, so a current Edge runs Azeroth Survivors the same way Chrome does. |
| Safari | Recent Safari releases ship WebGPU. Update macOS and Safari if the game shows a WebGPU warning. |
| Other browsers | If a browser has no WebGPU, Azeroth Survivors cannot start there. Use Chrome, Edge or Safari, or the Windows build. |
If your browser shows a WebGPU message or a black canvas, update it first. If that does not help, open Azeroth Survivors in its own tab, which sometimes avoids problems caused by the embedded frame, or take the Windows build instead.
The browser version of Azeroth Survivors is hosted on a small free server that has a daily request limit. When enough players load the game in one day the limit is reached, and the game replaces itself with a busy notice. That is a capacity problem on the host side, not a fault in your browser or your connection.
You have three ways around it, all one click from this page:

It embeds the community-hosted browser game from wow.aethus.pl, explains how to get it running and links to the developers' Windows build and Discord. If you have played Vampire Survivors or similar games, Azeroth Survivors will be familiar: automatic attacks, enemies that arrive in growing waves and an upgrade choice after each level. The difference is the setting, with a World of Warcraft flavour on heroes and enemies. Newcomers to the genre can learn it in a single run.
Azeroth Survivors is a free survivor roguelike inspired by World of Warcraft. You pick a hero, move around an arena while your attacks fire on their own, collect experience and choose one upgrade every time you level up. This page embeds the browser version of Azeroth Survivors so you can start a run right away, with no account and no install.
Scroll up to the game window and click inside it so it has keyboard focus. Azeroth Survivors needs a browser with WebGPU, such as a current Chrome, Edge or Safari. Choose a hero, steer with the keyboard and let your attacks run automatically. Our Azeroth Survivors how to play guide covers upgrades, survival tips and what to do when the game does not start.
Yes. The browser version of Azeroth Survivors is free and needs no account, no sign-up and no install. There is also a Windows build that you can download from the developers' own file link if you would rather play outside the browser. This fan page does not charge for anything and never asks for payment details.
The browser game runs on a small free server with a daily request limit. When that limit is reached the game shows a busy notice and may not load until the limit resets. You can use the Windows download or join the Discord from the buttons on this page, or simply try Azeroth Survivors again a little later, for example outside peak evening hours.
No. This is an unofficial fan page. It embeds the game hosted at wow.aethus.pl and links to the developers' own Windows download and Discord. It does not host any game files, and it is not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment, World of Warcraft or the Azeroth Survivors developers.
Azeroth Survivors draws its world with WebGPU. If your browser has no WebGPU the game cannot start and you will see a warning or an empty canvas. Update Chrome, Edge or Safari to a current version, or on Linux Chrome enable the unsafe WebGPU flag at chrome://flags/#enable-unsafe-webgpu. If it still fails, open Azeroth Survivors in its own tab or use the Windows build.
The page loads in a mobile browser that supports WebGPU, but Azeroth Survivors is built around keyboard movement, so a desktop or laptop browser is much smoother. Phones and tablets may also hit the busy notice more often, and touch controls are not something this fan page can add.
Azeroth Survivors follows the same survivor formula: automatic attacks, growing waves of enemies and an upgrade pick after each level, with a World of Warcraft flavour on top. If you enjoy Vampire Survivors or similar games you will feel at home, because the skill is in movement and build choices rather than aiming.
No. Azeroth Survivors is a separate fan-made game, not part of World of Warcraft, so it does not use a Blizzard or Battle.net account and has no connection to your WoW subscription. You do not need to register anywhere to play it in the browser from this page.
The developers' Discord is the best place for news, new builds and help with problems. The button on this page opens their invite. This site only explains the basics and links out, so for patch notes, bug reports and community tips always check the Discord first.
